Favorite thing I read this week:
I have gotten semi into Live No Lies and you guys…it’s been convicting me! Wow! I am on a search for TRUTH in my life. I really want to live in reality…as an entrepreneur we struggle sometimes with living in hopes and dreams and what really is. Furthermore, I allow fear and other vices to take control of my mind, and so far this book really addresses all of these things…I’ll give you more of an update once I’m done, hopefully next week! If you want to join me in reading it, I’d be interested in your thoughts! Get it HERE!
Favorite thing I continue to wear over and over….
About six or so years ago, I bought Lululemon’s first version of the long Wunder Puff sleeping bag jacket for those freezing cold lacrosse games. I found it on clearance half off at the after Christmas sale. My mom had just given me cash for Christmas to pick out my Christmas gift, and I was so excited that I had just enough to get that first jacket. I wore it for several years, almost every day during the late fall and into the spring. Eventually, the feathers started to fall out due to the excessive washing I did. Two years ago, my mom get me the newest version as an upgrade. The reason why I am bringing it up now is if there are any moms doing winter or spring sports that require you to sit in cold bleachers for hours on end, I HIGHLY recommend this new version. It’s warm, has a removable hood and is water resistant! It doesn’t look like Lululemon carries the long version right now {likely a winter option}, but if you find one, GRAB IT. Evy had FOUR {yes 4} evening lacrosse games this week and I’ve been living in this coat when the coastal fog comes in. Here is the link for the short version HERE.
Favorite thing I did this week:
Well. I basically did lacrosse alll week. ha. So I guess that’s my favorite thing. And truly, watching my kids do anything they love and are good at is such a treat. I’m grateful for the people I get sit in the stands with too… some of these families have been by my side for many years and love and care for my kids and I’m so grateful for them. Plus, the school has a beautiful view, especially right after the rain and when the sun is setting!
Favorite thing I ate this week:
Maybe we are slow to the bandwagon, but Evy and I just discovered Yasso Greek Yogurt bars. OH MY GOODNESS. Have you had them? They are soooo good. Our favorite are cookies and cream and the chocolate covered vanilla. Since I’m trying to get more protein I love that have some grams…don’t love the sugar content but sometimes you just need something a little sweet that isn’t outrageously high in calories.

Favorite thing I’ve been playing over and over:
I have a worship channel from Spotify I’d love to share. It’s such an excellent mix of worship songs, and it’s usually my first channel I go to when I want to be reflective while driving or fill the house with praise while doing dishes or cleaning. The link for the playlist is HERE.
Favorite verse I read this week:
This week I had a couple reminders of my demise the last few years…where I spent so much time seeking not God but money and prideful ambitions. It’s always hard when I am faced with my past. I forgive myself, obviously, but this week, I read this and my heart was warmed. “Seek first the kingdom of God”….and then guess what? “all these things will be added to you”. Want to have all the things you think you need? Seek Him! That helped remind me that when I put Him first, He supplies all my needs. And He has!
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
