Welcome to Friday Favorites, a time where I share some of this week’s favorite things!
The following post is a free post for all my subscribers. If you are not a paid subscriber, I’d love for you to become one. Over the next few weeks we are going to have some exciting posts and downloads for paid subscribers only. You can become a paid subscriber below. Thank you for being here, Friends!
Favorite thing I read this week:
I haven’t finished any books this week, but I wanted to share with you a book I’ve started and a couple I’ve finished recently that I can’t recommend enough.
I downloaded another John Mark Comer book, Live No Lies, and I’ve only listened to a few chapters but it seems to be another great one! I will keep you updated.
In the meantime I’d like to recommend two books that really helped me last year: Captivating by John and Stasi Eldridge and You Can Trust God To Write Your Story by Wolgemuth will change your life. Captivating showed me what being a woman really means in the Bible and You Can Trust God To Write Your Story gave me faith I so desperately needed to keep walking my journey.
You can find all the books recommended HERE.

Favorite thing I continue to wear over and over….
I’m living in this sweatshirt from Target that I recommended last week. Like living in it. I got a size XL by accident but I love it! {I’m a pretty solid medium} You can see me model all the hoodies I got from Target last week HERE.
Favorite thing I did this week:
I’m going to be honest, this week has been hard. Some things popped up that brought fear and anxiety knocking at my doorstep. I hate it when that happens, because those are two of the things I’ve been working so hard on… not allowing my fear to rule me and putting my faith in Him. So because of this spiritual and emotional onslaught I’ve been doing a lot of digging into the Bible and journaling. This is probably the most helpful thing I did this week.
I’ve outlined what I use for Bible reading and journaling HERE. I hope it helps someone!
Favorite thing I ate this week:
If you have a Trader Joe’s near you, RUN. Evy and I think they taste like Cadbury Easter Eggs, but a teensy bit healthier for you! 😜
Favorite song I’ve been playing over and over:
I a still listening to Fred Hammond. In fact, it hasn’t been changed from my car player. It’s really helped relieve my anxiety. The Pages of Life are a faith filled album! Listen HERE
Favorite verse I read this week:
This verse has helped me. I am fervently praying for God to work in someone’s heart who I love dearly. When I read this in The Daily Bible a few days ago, it brought me such peace. He is devising ways to bring us back!
Friends,
Thank you for being here again this Friday. It’s always so good to see you. God is for you. Don’t forget that. Hugs to you!
