It’s been a light week around here…
My little small but mighty team has been working on a bunch of exciting behind the scenes things that are going to debut over the next month or two. Paid subscribers: this week we will be unveiling the soft launch of something we hope you LOVE! Can’t wait to share it with you…it will be a work in progress, but your feedback will be vital! Hope you join us!
On Wednesday we talked about Sarah, and how she massively messed things up. You can read that HERE.
On Friday I shared a few favorite things with you. I also shared messages from The Promise Center’s ladies conference, so be sure to check that out HERE!
In case you missed the exciting news… I am now a LTK creator, which means I’d love for you to check out my profile HERE. If you see something you love, be sure to purchase through my links and I get the commission for sharing. Super fun!
Word of encouragement:
I’m going through something right now that requires a lot of patience. It’s hard. I try to stay calm, and sometimes I just want to tell everyone exactly what I think about it. But I can’t. Why?
“Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.” Proverbs 16:32
Self-Control - the ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires or the expression of them in one's behavior, especially in difficult situations.
As we all know, self control takes a lot of practice. Many of us, me included, have struggled with it at one point or another. And sometimes it feels it has little reward. You know those times when you stop yourself from saying something you wanted to say so very badly? It doesn’t always feel like you won. Sometimes it feels like you lost.
But Proverbs 16:32 tells us that a patient person is better than a warrior! Yes! That means you could conquer the world, but if you don’t have self control, you really are nothing special.
Guys…if you bit your tongue this week, but don’t feel like you won, remember this:
You are better than a warrior.
Pretty cool huh?
I love you friends! Happy Saturday!
