My name is Amy Miraflor and I am so glad you are here! I am a late 40 something mother of two teenagers and a born and raised San Francisco Bay Area girl. When I was eight my parents moved a little north of the City to Sonoma County so we could live and grow up in a small, wine country town away from all the hustle and bustle. I’m still here; raising my kids in a little slice of Heaven.
This substack is a place for me to share my personal story of success and failure. About 13 years ago I started a clothing company out of my garage called Evy’s Tree that amassed nearly $20m worth of revenue over its lifetime. In 2022 I had to close that beautiful company due to supply chain issues, personal mishaps and a divorce. This substack is the story of my journey of building a marriage and a multi million dollar business and then simultaneously losing it all.
While much of my journey has been sad of late, I have seen beauty. There has been so much joy. I’ve watched God do big miracles. Even when your life falls apart, there is good, I promise.

What can you expect?
My journey is an intensely personal one. I will be covering intimate topics of my business as well as why I believe I lost so much interpersonally. Since this is such a private conversation, free posts will be limited for now. I am happy to share my journey of looking for glory in the suffering. I will cover parenting, business, divorce, friendship…and how it related to my rise and fall of success.
